Enjoy the panoramic view over the Languedoc plain
At the heart of the Languedoc plain, the oppidum offers an exceptional panorama of the Cévennes, the Montagne Noire, the Pyrenees and the Mediterranean. Its two unspoilt hectares are home to a rich diversity of flora and fauna! Enough to delight, surprise and fascinate the keen observer!
Where to eat?
Unfortunately, it's not possible to eat inside the monument. However, the area does offer a wide range of gastronomic specialities!
And if you're feeling peckish, there's plenty of food on offer at the monument's ticket office!

Admission is free for under-26s. Make the most of it!
Visit conditions
Visit with peace of mind!
- Don't forget your headgear! In summer, the sun beats down hard on the oppidum!
- Water fountains are available inside the monument, but don't hesitate to bring your own water bottles or drinks!
- Strollers are allowed inside the monument. However, you'll need to leave them at the front of the museum to visit it!
- Don't forget, it's a 10-minute walk up a footpath to reach the site!
