A protected natural heritage site
As part of European Heritage Days, a representative from the Occitanie branch of the League for the Protection of Birds (LPO) will be at a stand to present the ‘Refuge LPO’ programme, through which the Oppidum and Archaeological Museum of Ensérune are committed to preserving biodiversity.
Guided walks are available to help you discover the various natural habitats that support the biodiversity found within this heritage site. You might even spot a goldfinch, a short-toed snake eagle, a blackcap or a ocellated lizard!
